Hmmm... That's rare. Wonder if it is a stick.

Rare? Well aren't they all? Whether the 84 (20th) or the 89 (25th) they were pretty much all dogs. I remember my 68 Shelby GT 350 friend got one of these around this era trying to re-live the Shelby days (pre-marriage) I believe it was the 1984 20th anniversary edition as it had the GT350 red stripe trim, I drove it a couple of times and it was just as much of a dog as the first year of this body style that I installed 'Track bars' on for a customer. He rear ended someone 2x with the car, 2nd time he totaled a Saab of that era but ended up with a SVO hood grafted on to the V8 car via his in-laws at the Ferd dealership so that was cool and I guess kind of 'rare'.

He still said to me every time we were going somewhere in it...
"I should of never sold my 68".

:wideyed:

cheap **** box with a stick

Welp I hear ya on that, when I got those oddball 15&1/2" tires and wheels off the 1979 Mustang that I was putting the track bars on and saw the 9" rear drums & 10" disc's I just said WTF! Well it was the 55mph days soooo I guess that's all you need.
But it was fun to turn off the interstate onto the exit ramp at 80+ mph and grab a handfull of stick as the brakes were pretty much useless. Just stick and pitch it sideways with the trackbars to scrub off speed. WoooHoo!

As posted above that GT has been discussed here several times before. I went and looked at it back in 2014. Still hasn't moved by the looks of the pictures. Old guy who owns it is friendly enough, but thinks everything he has is gold. Column automatic car.
