Is there actually a code that gives the exact time of the cast ? Never heard about this, hardly believable.

Yes. Some codes (a few) can be broken down to shift but I never heard of time stamped. I think he's a former Miata salesman. You can't disprove him...

I'm not sure if this is what he's taking about, but there is a clock thing cast into the side of the block. I've never read about it being time of casting. It could any number of things. It does look like a clock though.
