the only things i noticed were the front seat is wearing a lil thin and the vinyl roof needs to be replaced and the transmission looked like it was leaking

The paint looks pretty good for a 72. Must have been garaged for a long time.

The other things you noticed sound about normal for a 43 yo car.

I'm not seeing the things you are seeing? Trans leak, vinyl top needs replacing? Maybe the seat, but not even sure about that.

body looked rust free not sure about the trunk or floor frame looked soild.
