72 New Yorker windshield trim clips

Hi everyone.....hope someone can help please,

I recently imported a 72 New Yorker into the UK and the windshield was smashed during the shipping process.

Does anyone know exactly what clips I need to install to hold the trim on after a new screen is fitted please? There are several styles to choose from so I want to get it right before I order. A picture would be brilliant if you have one please!!

I want to order a set to have on hand when the new screen is fitted but I don't want to take the screen out yet as the car will be insecure on my driveway if I do.

Hi Bob....thanks for the reply. I was gutted when my car arrived with the windshield completely trashed!! Dont think the dockers care really to be honest.

I was very lucky as the trim was totally untouched so I just need the clips. Im anticipating that a few will break when the windshield is removed so Im just planning for the worst case scenario. The clips are available on ebay in various styles but I dont know exactly which ones I need...

No quite... The top five clips are correct but I believe the kit you posted is for the rear window. The front lower windshield trim ex screwed to the cowl. The top and side trim use the clips shown at the top of your posting...

I seem to recall you will need about 12-14 of those to do the job. I also don't recommend you try and re-use the old ones as they will likely break or deform upon removal of the trim.

It turns out that the guy who supplies and fits here in the UK will supply all the clips I need. Fat end of $1000 to replace!!!
