In the abstract I would agree, but in this particular case I think the car just looks right and I would enjoy the hell out of it. If I had a spare $3000 I would show up with that in 100s and see if they'd take it. Got to focus the extra pennies on the fury, though.

How can they steer with those things? Is there something about '72 Polaras, do they just have a bunch more clearance than other Cs?

I'm willing to bet there are serious clearance issues but some people just don't care. It's all about the looks.
Then the next owner finds out........

A 9.9 out of 10. I'm sorry but there is a mandatory 1 point deduction for minor rust. There is also another 1 point deduction for using the phrase " very easily fixable." There is no appeal for these deductions and I am not a Russian judge. Should you appeal there will be a 1/2 point deduction taken for being a flipper and using flipper language.

Now the 360 flies down the freeway and gets awesome mileage? WTF are your smoking. Sure wouldn't say that about my 360. Thumbs up everywhere this car goes? How many here get thumbs up for their Fusie? I have yet to see one thumbs up when my car is out and it is quite possibly the only Polara that one will see in Contra Costa County. Oh yeah, flipper talk.

There was a dealer in Fitchburg MA. that used to fix/flip old Mopars, might be the same guy. I noticed some overspray on the rubber wedge on right front fender might be an old repair.

I am surprised how often I get thumbs up for my beater Polara. One day I had this zit faced kid grinning ear to ear giving me thumbs up, you’d think he just saw Jay Leno driving one of his Duisenbergs.

The big winner is the 65 F100 which gets a thumbs up from someone on the road every time it goes out on the road. Usually what happens, like say I once drove to the recycle center to drop off some stuff, the guys go what is this car?

The funny thing with me is it is backwards of what I think it should be. I get more comments in nice area about my beaters than I do in lesser areas.

I was at a gas station that probably has more BMW and Mercedes than Honda's and I had people wanting to talk about the car.

The first road trip in my Barracuda was crazy, I felt like a celebrity with all the cars swarming around me thumbs and trying to ask questions?, that 3 hours was all that way.
Never figured that out and it hasn't been that bad since.

Have one follow you home. I did. He then posted a video up on youtube about how he could *roll* me anytime in his 300zx. A friend saw the video, which was pretty much the back of my car & license plate, going into my driveway with the mailbox number. Video is now gone after my friend sent him a kind message.
