I'd have to weld a plug in the roof to undo the 70's aftermarket pop up sunroof. These cars were very "mean" looking when done right, like this one.

That's true about the aftermarket sunroof. Despite that this car seemed like a very good deal for 72 B body. No new paint, just primed, on the car to hide anything and from the one quarter visible it looks good and so I would assume the other one two.

I found three tempting cars today with this being one. The other a red 1966 Newport 2dr at 4K and a little high. The other a very nice gold 1970 Ford LTD 2dr for 2,600 needing little work and no vinyl top.

Rarely saw these aftermarket sunroofs on American cars. They ruined very many European cars of the late 60s-70s when this became fashionable in the 80s.

Thats where you saw them in mid 70's and early 80's cars. Usually Camaros, Firebirds and Mustangs

Shops opened up on every block installing those stupid pop up sunroofs. Sawed right through reinforcement ribs and sealed them with two tubes of caulk.
