$5k is definitly too much for it. Some people think "Yeah, I'm rich, I have a classic car" ... If they would check the price niveau of this cars first, they would realize it's not worth what they expect... But on the other side, they probably wouldn't put it up for sale if they would know what it's worth..!

I'd say its a "sentimental asking price"...for sentimental reasons the owner doesn't REALLY want to sell it (ex. belonged to dear old Aunt Mildred before she cashed her chips in)....but will unload it if some bone head with $5gs in his pocket comes along and offers it up. There IS a sucker born every minute.

Fully agree with you. The price for this old Imperial is crazy. This person will need to reduce the price if the Imperial again get on the road.
