What a damn shame to see that beautiful Monaco wagon (when it was made) now sitting probably for decades in a field with what appears the back window down. Probably a parts car now, as the price reflects.

I actually talked to the seller and he said another guy in the past looked at the car and wanted the rear end out of it for one of his high performance B bodies, so it might be true. But the seller wouldn't sell it to him since it was part of the car and he wanted to leave it complete. I would put the rear end back to stock though.

In any case, the car sold this afternoon to someone else, and despite the back window being down, he had the wagon covered all the time he had it so it was spared from the elements pretty well. He said he looked for rust in the back area because the rear window had been down and didn't find any and he said the undercarriage was nice and dry too.

The seller, Dewayne, was a very high energy 59 year old and was a delight to talk with. Very motivated and I like that.
