I remember this car coming up for sale before......same story....selling for widow....same price.

It was up for sale 2-3 years ago, in the same town, with the same photo next to the Dodge pickup.

This poor thing has been for sale for atleast 5 years now. Same old story, guy selling it for poor widow lady. Nobody is coughing up 6'gs for it. It is a gorgeous car, but still a formal...

Serious?
And you never once went for it with a lowball?

I reached out to him a long while ago, and got the feeling he had gold in his mind. The widow reallllyyy needed as much $$ as she could get sorta thing. I thought about trying again before I got the cordoba, but I didn't.

I have been watching this for months. Watch out for the paint quality, its very hard to paint bare steel anywhere, but with Florida humidity, it seems impossible to not have some flash rust. In the summer months I've seem it flash rust in just an hour... wipe your hand or a paper towel over the bare steel and you will see it. At 39000 miles why did it need paint and a top? and how much rust was there? I haven't looked at this car, but be careful, the paint will bubble if rust was trapped under it. AND replace the hood insulation or you may cook the hood paint from engine heat.

Besides, I'm not so much a fan of the crown roof, I love the hard top look.
