thought Bob and some of your compatriots might like to see the pics of the 78 I took the wiper parts out of. I carefully removed the lower dash section, glove box, and instrument cluster face. The car is in very good condition and has many good interior parts including: steering column, power window swithes, door ash tray and lighters, instrument cluster, dash harness, glove box, air conditioning ducting and more. Bob, your parts are on their way. 100_1458.jpg100_1464.jpg100_1465.jpg

Bob, this is going to kill you. A friend of mine just dragged home a really nice 78 NYB as a parts car. Guess what was missing but there was an earlier year one in it's place???

The 78 Wiper motor cam is missing? I'm probably going to give up and convert to a 74-77 setup. I do have a wiper motor and cam from a 78 Cordoba on the way from Newmexguy (Thanks Dave). I'll have to get the magnifying glass out and see what part number is on the cam. According to the 1978 parts book Ny'er, Newport, Cordoba has the same cam, retainer ring, spring, etc. Only the wiper linkage arm length is different on the Cordoba. What color interior is the 78 that your friend just got?

Stan, what color is the interior of the 78 NYB your friend dragged home?
