Yes, Mopar put Metric speedos in cars before 78...I've seen 1968 metric speedos on export cars. As for Canadian production 1977 and on Canadian cars had Metric speedos.
Another point of concern is the "specks" on the chrome on the top of the grille. They were notorious for pitting in the Canadian climate, so I'm thinking it would need a new grille surround too.
The checkered velour interior may look wierd, but it is VERY comfortable.
Probably meant to appeal to grandmothers who crochet seat covers.It may be comfortable, but was an unfortunate choice by the interior designers. It is really unattractive.
