I have had an 8 track tape since about 1970 that had a bunch of talking on it and some cool songs. I always disliked the talking as it was a bother while waiting for the songs to start. I have kept all my 8 track tapes and recently got them out, bought a couple 8 track players and repaired all the tapes. The particular tape I mentioned above is a Mopar 1969 Fury Demo tape that a salesman put in the 8 track player of a Fury that was on a demonstration drive. It has only two songs per track and starts each one by telling about the 1969 Plymouth Fury's. Models, options, features and specs, etc. I have seen a couple similar 8 track tapes on eBay in recent years and they sold for close to and over $200 each ! So I guess there are a few people who really want them ? Maybe I should list it on eBay ?

Make copies of the Mopar recordings and post on You Tube before you get rid of them! Then, post the link here....

not shure of tunes on tape but seems to be a few...will post all that info ect later..guess l should think about how that cassettes gona be restored...never tried to play it as was unshure as to condition and didn't wana screw it up...think with it being in glovebox may have saved it for the most part
as for copying and putting on you tube would be good idea re saveing info ect

I think the original owner of my NYB was a preacher......may explain why the car had a CB radio. He may of been preaching on the interstate in York, PA.
