Beautiful car.... Tough restoration.... A good parts car. The 60/61 Imperial coupe and convertibles are my favorite.

It'll look great it someone takes it on as a project but I think there's a good chance it'll be a parts car. Production numbers say on 1,498 of these were built.

Any car you would buy for parts to restore this would have a better condition. One thing I can't stand with projects of that kind is that you don't even have some rusty trunk floor or lower quarter left for example to know how they were actually shaped like the darts, roundings of the wheel wells; if you do it just like you think or by pics it usually changes the whole look.

Thats a lot of work for the guy that buys it

This 64 Convertible is sitting in a carport near me.... Just a little to rough for a reasonable restro. The white leather interior alone would be a project killer.

There's a guy a couple of blocks from my Dad's house that has 2 cars coming out of the ground in his yard. He has 110v hooked up so the headlights are on at night. I believe it's an old Cadillac and a model T. I'll take some pictures next time I'm in Milwaukee.

I've got a perfect spot in the front yard to construct a cool diarama around an old car. I could use my 69 300 convertible parts hulk. I just don't have enough ace's left to hold off the HOA.

If I ever move...............it won't be in another HOA!

I had no idea what a HOA was until I bought this house. Never again.
