Old Man with a Hat
Our local Mopar club (Central OK Mopar Association) had its' monthly event, a cruise out to Shawnee, OK to a little BBQ place called Van's Pig Stand. It's been around since 1932. The brisket is amazing, let me tell ya!
Anyway, we had five Club cars participate - I had the only OLD Mopar, all the others were '02 and newer but we had fun. Drove the Imperial with my lovely wife and older son. I love the way that car drives! You really don't think you are driving 5,285 pounds of big-*** Detroit metal down the road!
After the feed, we went down the street to award a plaque to a great Club sponsor, which is a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealer in Shawnee. The owner came out and scoped out the cars we had (especially the ragtop!), while we drooled over the Hellcat Charger and Challenger he had on the showroom floor. I think I know now what my Powerball cars will be!
So, I put another 70 miles on the Imperial. The weather was overcast with a bit of drizzle coming home, but still in the high 60s. The wipers worked fine, and the car didn't miss a beat. Perfect driving weather to me.
No pics. My phone doesn't do pics.
