It is hard to find one of these vehicles ever, and one in this condition is really rare, and with a great color to add to the impact. It seems to be priced well below what was spent to get it to this condition I would estimate. 1957 was a banner year for Chrysler.

A frame Off Concours Restoration. 57,500 Original Miles!! RARE!! 1 of 1,049 Convertibles Built. Exceptional Indian Turquoise Exterior. Turquoise Interior w/Gold Piping & Cloth Inserts. 392 HEMI V8 w/Push Button TorqueFlite Transmission. In 1957, Virgil Exner introduced the Forward Look with the new Chryslers and the New Yorker was their flagship. Restored to better than new condition, this rare Chrysler is finished in Indian Turquoise with a contrasting white top and matching Turquoise interior. The paint is in pristine condition along with all of the trim and endless britework. The flashy interior is highly detailed with gold piping that wraps around the seats and correct cloth inserts. Loaded with options including power windows, power seat, power top, AM Radio, rear speaker and dual antennas. New for 1957, the 392 Hemi V8 makes a whopping 325 horsepower and 430 pounds of torque and is backed by a push button 3 speed TorqueFlite automatic. These cars got great reviews thanks to the powerful drivetrain thats assisted power steering and brakes too. With only a handful of these convertibles known to still exist, this New Yorker will be an excellent addition to any collection.
