UPDATE - AS OF NOW I HAVE ENOUGH SERIOUSLY INTERESTED PERSONS IN LINE TO LOOK AT THIS CAR, CONSIDER IT SOLD UNLESS I UPDATE THIS POST AGAIN. THANKS FOR LOOKING
original, unrestored, needs a few things. Very solid car, the body is in nice shape. The original TNT 440 was rebuilt prior to my buying it. If you know what this is, you know they don't come up for sale very often as only 485 were made. I'm looking for around $7500 in cash, will consider partial trades.
call or text, leave message if I don't answer as my email isn't working, and I have a Sprint phone which means I only get about half my calls. 6zero5-six91-45eight6

big block, 383, magnum, super commando, dodge, plymouth, chrysler, c-body, musclecar, mopar

I don't know what happened to your first link but waive your mouse over it and look to the bottom left of your screen where it shows you the link address and you should notice a ': pp' after the .html at the end.

we just talked about them lately.
There is a bunch of them out there

Ok, so if there is a bunch, is this guy asking a fair price? I'm thinking of looking at one that needs restoration, what things should I be looking for, other than the obvious? What parts are impossible to find/replace? I know of one sitting in a shop that's doing work for the owner, want to know what to say if he decides to sell. I have no idea what they should/could be worth.

Why are these so desired in the C body world

I think the mindset is ........ low production = rare = valuable. It seems that most folks who get into a H300 arn't really Cbody folks.

There are a lot of Cbody choices that are a lot more attractive then the H300 and just as, or even more, scarce then them.

she looks really nice !!!
Maybe i'll buy it ! it will be cheaper for me !

I agree with Will.
Most people like them, too because it is an "official" Muscle car and not just a "full size". They have a better standing to most Mopar dudes (A-B-E-Body guys).

I personally like the design of the hood.
I don't like the trunk lid with the spoiler too much.
What turns me off is the interieur colour as well as all Hursts look pretty much the same.
Just personal taste

Agreed, the only thing worth while is the hood. It should have been offered as an option. I'd love to get one and paint it the same color as the car, no stripes or detailing. Of course I'd have the standard hood for the purists.

Going against the grain here, I never liked the dash board in the Chryslers. When I was younger I wanted a Hurst... now..... not really

That's what I like so much about my 67-68 Ambassadors, they have round instr panel/gauges, looks a lot more sporty.

Funny. I really like the 69-71 Chrysler dashes with the bright, wide speedo. "Classic" american design to me.

I like the rallye dashes on the B-bodies though but they were meant to be more sportier.

So, the guy is asking too much because you (no one in particular) don't care for the car? I've always thought they were cool looking rides, still do. If there is only 485 or so made, aren't they rare? Still don't get why it's out of line pricewise. I'd sure like to pay less, but I don't think it's unreasonable. Where's commando to put it in perspective? :)

I think it's a very reasonable price for the car if it is as good as it looks in the pictures.

I don't think they are saying anything about the price being wrong, they are wondering why some people ask outrageous prices for some Hurst cars.

Guess I read into the price thing a little too much. Still curious what to look for in one of these.

Seems like it was priced right...listing is gone. I like them, always curious why they all wouldn't be buckets/console and a Hurst shifter??? What were they thinking....
