alerts not working

I am not getting alerts here. A lot of them. Every time I go through the new posts list I find threads I have posted in, sometimes multiple times but I am not getting any alerts that they are being posted in.

Same happens over on fabo.

Yes, I received an alert for this. Every time I get on here I go to the new posts and find threads I have posted in that I did not get an alert to.

But before I post my reply on this thread, I went and looked through the new posts and immediately within 10 posts is a post that has my icon on it but I did not receive an alert.

And there are 2 threads on the second page that I did not receive an alert for.

On FABO there are so many posts, so fast that it is more difficult to just run through the threads and see what has not alerted me. So on FAbo I literally just loose conversations/threads all the time due to this.

I posted in the not mine 69 300 vert thread a few minutes ago.
There has been a post on it and I did not receive an alert.

I have found that button and have activated it.

Tonight, 3 threads were commented on that I did not get an alert for those three.

I did get 5 alerts, but not these 3.

Did you comment in them since changing the setting?

I noticed some alerts not working for me and when I checked my preference's via that link I found some alert boxes unchecked.
