One of the docents down on the Hornet owns a 1964 Galaxie 500 and a 1957 F-100. He brought the Galaxie down today after being stored for the last year. Now John has retired from the airlines as a pilot but kind of learned his trade in Vietnam. He was in the Army and flew the first Cobra attack helicopters that came into the country. He is the original owner of the Galaxie. It is a 390 and I will leave the rest to those with a discerning eye.

For those who don't know what a Cobra is. This particular Cobra turns out to be one of the first to show up in Vietnam. Note the tail picture and the little stick man with the coolie hat. That signifies a kill and it turns out this Cobra is credited with the first kill in Vietnam.
