Not a fan of these, but if I had to have one, this would be the one and I wouldn't touch a thing, just drive and enjoy. I honestly don't think 14K is out of this world for a nice original C anymore, but you really have to fall in love with it to pay that price.
Done. I sent him the link. Three times the car at half the price. All I'd do to this car would be to have the seats re-foamed, detail the car and enjoy.
That dealer must have really wanted to dump it back then! It stickered out to 6500..but the bill of sale has it at 4595 and then gave him 900 on top of that for his Monaco! That was an awesome deal for back then..try that nowadays. The greasy car salesmen on today's car lots have hit new lows! Recently one salesman had the "stones" to tell me they only make 200 bucks on a car. HAHAHA... at the overhead that these new generation dealerships carry? That guy had more **** than a 10 pounds robin!
Under different circumstances I'd be researching the process to import this car. A Hurst car is at the top of the food chain which makes the asking price a good starting point for negotiations. No doubt could be had for 12K.
