Guys,

the headlight doors where giving problems. Would not open anymore. Power to open and close the doors, and ground, to motor switch are as should be.
So I removed the motor/switch assembly from the car, and it looks like this very tiny spring (10 millimeter or 0.40 inch) is the culprit. See picture. It lost its tension.
Searched the internet to find one, but no luck so far. Do you guys know where

these spring are to be found?

B.t.w. , our switch plate seems te have other internals than the ones I’ve seen here in other posts?!

And, the motor doesn’t have a knob underneath to manually operate the doors.

Have you tried a local hardware store? Most have a section with many different spring types / lengths. This may be what you have to do?

Will this do? If so PM me your address (again?) and it's yours
It was in my clock parts cabinet. I have no clue what it came off of.

Thanks for the replies guys. I got a tip for a little shop here in Rotterdam who make springs. It needed a little tweaking but it seems to function.
HH motor goes back in the car soon, fingers crossed.
