One formal is enough. My plan is to add a Slab and a Fusie.

Slabs are generally described as C bodies built from 65 - 68. Side panels were typically scooped out. Fusies built starting in 69 had side panels like a plane fuselage hence "fusie". About 74 C bodies changed to a more squared off or "formal" style. That's my understanding if anyone else wants to pipe in.

Good reference! The Formal Mopars were produced from 1974-1978.

But this one is not a coupe but it is right down the street from me.

I am thoroughly convinced that Stan came up with the formal reference

The Coupe roof line was more sedate and formal than it was in 1973, and was shared with the 4-Door Hardtop roof line. Thinner windshield posts were used in keeping with the more streamlined look, and the "formal-backlight” (partially enclosed) rear window style was retained and the standard padded vinyl top sported a halo effect over the side drip moldings, which were color-keyed to the roof.

I then think the should be called streamliners ..........

honestly Bob, I like that non metallic blue of the car more than the metallic version. That is one of the few formals where I thought nice, I would drive it, too immidiatly.

Don't get me wrong, formals are good cars considering what else has been built in these days but they are far away from the sleek elegance of fuseys or the chrome area of the slabs.
