I maybe wrong but I suspect the flight sweep deck lid was an add on.

I've always liked the fake spare cover the forward looks. But NOT on this one. The deck lid sits too flat for it. Might as well have put it on the hood like a Land Rover.

Looks like someone threw the Rubbermaid trash can lid on the trunk and gave the owner an idea.....a bad one.
