Thank you for viewing my 1-owner 1966 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon, equipped with a 383 cubic inch V8 engine and optional roof rack. It also features a power rear window, working A/C and power seats. The original owner cared for this very special wagon from 1966 until very shortly before I was lucky enough to purchase it in June of 2013. The volume of records and documentation included with the car is simply astounding, and I can only imagine that it is every piece of paperwork associated with it since its purchase in 1966. The bill of sale and window sticker are included and wonderfully intact. This is an extremely rare and special car and once-in-a-lifetime example of the sort of stewardship every collector admires.
I've enjoyed this Town & Country immensely over the past two years and have only done a few minor things care for it properly. I got the A/C blowing cold again and upgraded the wheels and tires for both ride quality and appearance, but I made sure to keep the wheels and hubcaps that were on the car when I purchased it. I also replaced the muffler which had passed its prime with a nice new muffler with a nice mellow tone. Otherwise, just general care and maintenance was all that it required. This is a beautiful car with a wonderful history that is in incredible shape and ready to be driven and enjoyed.

The seller is full of himself and delusional. Wagon has 81K miles on it therefore really isn't a time capsule - it is well used no matter how clean it looks. It isn't the best looking wagon to my eyes that Chrysler ever built either. $34K will never happen. He would be lucky to get a third of it. And only a 383 and no power windows. I don't think this piece is especially well written either with all its over the top hyperbole, e.g. "The volume of records and documentation included with the car is simply astounding".
But I don't expect anything else from a flipper dealer anyway.

I always imagined that living in California might make one less negative but I guess not.

Nice wagon but not worth anything near his BIN price. I agree probably a third at best.

Did you have any breakfast this morning ?:poke:

Oh, I did, but I threw up when I read all the New York dealer B.S. So its not my fault!

Maybe its "The Donald" rubbing off on me! :edgy:
Not to worry, Steve. Reading your post had me wondering if I was channeling through you. You done good.

I have to agree that he is delusional about his value. 10K is closer to the mark I think.

I also think his ad is well written, shows a flair for marketing. the pictures show a car that speaks for itself. Anyone really interested will follow up.

It would be interesting to hear his story on how he determined the BIN $$$ for the wagon.

I don't know for sure about slab's....weren't all 1966 T&C's equipped with 440's?

There is another nice one on the bay, 5 hours left and it is at a reasonable $7,100.
