A very nice Imp. The only flaw I see is the leather is dried out and cracked. Another nice one for the Imp King!

Yaaa, he probably has one of those little hat's and the little parade car.......

Ross...........pictures please!!!!!!!!!

I remember seeing the Shriner's parade with Imperials. I've searched for a few minutes and couldn't find a single picture with with Shriner's riding in Imperials.

Here's a pic from 59.

More info about that picture...T

This imposing lineup of 21 Imperial convertibles greeted 21 prominent Omaha, Nebraska, businessmen when they arrived at the Chrysler and Imperial Division to pick up their cars. Besides being the biggest retail driveaway in Imperial's history, the cars were identical - white exterior with blue leather upholstery. Extras include air conditioning, Auto-Pilot and Solex glass. The owners, all members of the Omaha Shriner's organization, will use the cars in parades and other fund-raising activities for the benefit of crippled children.
Here are some shots of an article in the September? 1959 'Imperial Times" Dealer newsletter showing the Imps of Omaha in the 1959 College World Series Parade through Downtown Omaha Nebraska

They must have messed up their cars all the time. Like owning a 3oo Hurst a decade later.

Nice Shriners thread!

:backontopic:

HAHA, anyway, that Imp isn't a great looking parts car. Pass but thank you for the heads up.

There was an article in a magazine a year or two ago about them. The cars they had bought and why over several years, history and of course, photos. I never heard of them and the article was very interesting, actually fascinating

Never heard of them. Gawd times have changed. As a kid, two must-go circus' to attend was Ringling Bros. and The Shriners.
