Another possible WTF section candidate

I'll trade him straight up with rare 1of 1 beauty!!!

:laughing4:

I did have to email him to pull his head out of his ***. I got no response though lol

I haven't seen that car for sale at Carlisle. Dave have you seen it there?

He probably wants Hemi car price for this 440 car. Kind of rare...45 left in the world...Doubt it...But rare doesn't make it crazy valuable. Heck the 68 Coronet 500 rag I restored was super rare, optioned out the wazoo...about 250 made...didn't make it worth a ton though.

I can't wait for that listing to make it over to the WIW section on Moparts. The numbers Nazis over there will rip him to shreds.

Not 1 cent worth of useful information about the car itself in this ad. (not that I am Jay Leno or could afford it)LOL

"limited production 440 automatic.!" Like it was a special limited addition version, no dude it's a regular production car! All be it a very nice one! Don't care for that color, never did.

Just looking at the pictures I spotted incorrect hood treatment, (scoops should be body color with red screen, )asuming it is an original air grabber hood). Cracked steering wheel, missaligned console lid, Lack of the white stripe below the lower body molding, (white if car was equipped with WSW tires, red if equipped with red lines was standard on all 69 GTX's). No underhood pics or mention of numbers matching engine and/or trans. And a serious lack of options. All this just from the pics..... He's right ... It's no average $25K GTX... More like $20K

With so many imperfections I would have to verify the VIN and fender tags are real. In the back of my mind I'm thinking was this possibly a converted Satellite. Just thinking...

If we're picking apart the interior...The steering wheel horn ring is rusty, there is no foot pad on the e-brake lever, the center panel above the console...in the dash...looks like someone tried to fill in the A/C vents, driver side lower left corner has an A/C vent, don't see A/C controls on the dash, carpet runs up short behind the brake and gas pedal...etc.

Yep, lots of things wrong with this car for sure. I'm wondering now if it is an original GTX or not.

Guy probably is a chevy guy...got taken to the bank on a barrett jackson fueled delusional buy...now wants to try and get his money back out of a car that is not worth half what he paid for it. And proably not what it is supposed to be.

That color was ugly in 1969. Since the seller says Jay Leno doesn't have one, maybe he can give Jay a call and work out a deal.

I'm so evil.
I posted it on Moparts and I'm going to sit back and enjoy them ripping it apart.
