They take your drivers licence away when your doctor diagnoses certain illnesses. IMHO if a person has mental problems there is no way they should be able to possess a firearm. I've probably opened up a can of worms...

I agree...with people that have mental illness or felonies. I don't agree with taking firearms rights away from Soldiers that seek help for combat related PTSD. There might be a few Soldiers that have severe PTSD that are not normal functioning and reasoning human beings and can't safely manage firearms any more. But those numbers are miniscule.

Yeah, unbelievable. This dude had serious issues going on. The bad thing about this (aside from the victims, of course) is his actions are no doubt going to make things tougher for gun owners.
No doubt it will. I doubt that anything will come of it other than tighter restrictions on the mentally disabled.
