I went to buy a case of Valvoline 10/30 (standard, not VR-1 or synthetic) today as I need to change the oil and filter in the GTO and 300. Standard, 10/30 is going for over $5.00 PER QUART! WTF????
Anybody Bought Motor Oil Lately?

Your kidding? I buy all motor oil at Wal Mart. I can save about ten bucks for five quarts purchased over an auto parts store. five bucks is outrageous!

Just checked Wal Mart online and it's the same deal. $5.00+ per quart. WTF happened??? I usually pay around $2.00 per quart from Kragen/O'Riley's.

I'm not a snob. I use Walmart oil.

The quality or brand of oil is not as important as how often you change it. Refined oil is good if changed at 2-3 thousand miles.
