I'm in the process of trying to buy some tires for my Newport. I'm definitely leaning toward BFG Radial T/A's and was going to order them, but I ran into a little snag. I planned on running 225/70 R15 on the front and 235/70 R15 on the rear, if for no other reason, I thought it would look nicer with the slightly larger tires on the rear. I'll be mounting them on 7" rims. Right now she still has the four old 225/70 R15 (Goodyear Eagle GT+4) tires all around. I loved these tires on my car except that they put the speedometer out a bit and I always wondered if bigger rear tires would have looked better.
I'm debating whether to go with the 225/70 R15's all around again or wait for the 235's. The 225's are readily available. I was told that the 235/70 R15's are on "back order" until who knows when.
