What a coincidental thread! A good friend of ours passed away last year at an early age (65), single, a collector of everything sports, and a bit of an eccentric. (Aren't we all) My best buddy is the executor, and over the last 10 months has been clearing out his house and collections. As of today, we estimate that there are now about 35,000 cards of all sports in boxes in the garage. The really rare cards, hall of famers, rookies etc have been sold privately, as have the coins and other rare items. Today, my pal and I are attending at one of the largest collectible shows in BC, to see if there is anyone who wants to make a bulk buy of the rest. I never figured out how people could amass that large of a collection. C Shaft
