just wondered if anyone had seen it in person and/or knew if it sold, etc.

Thanks

thanks, yeah, that's it. I'd consider having someone look it and paying them somethihng for their time. but before that, I'll ask another stupid question. That amount is Canadian $$, correct? If so, what would U.S. price be? Dale

Yes its CDN$$ use $1.3 USD exchange so $13800USD - i'd go $10K USD as an offer see if he bites. Been for sale for months was a US car. Of course thats if I had your money to spend....:)

hey there, thanks for the info, my biggest concern is previous rust )anywhere) and the fact that the few times I've called him, about all I get out of him is basically, "what you see is what's for sale" which could mean he jsut doesnt need to sell, but it could mean other things, never really like to work with any seller like that anyway. and just for the record, I'm still paying on my bronze 300, had to get a full loan for it, paid a lot in loans (plus savings over years) for my other Mopar (GTX convertible) and if got this one, would most likely have to sell my current 300. So, unfortnatley, I'm not in that financial positiona at all. But if people are and they aren't "snooty" about it, I totally respect them as long as they got legally. not lecturing at all, just "clearing" up the "perceived" which i understand

What is involved in importing a car from Canada? Is it an involved process?
I agree, I don't like sellers who are not forthcoming with info - that always makes me suspect.
yeah, that's a good question, i think i've asked before but could use a refresher from you guys. thanks.

Check the VIN and Fender Tag. Don't take the seller's word for it that it's a TNT car until that is verified.

I have imported 5 cars from the usa to Canada. i didn't bullshit customs had all the paperwork and all goes well. the last one i bought i had to involve a broker. i would think it would be no different going to the usa from Canada. google is your buddy. google importing a car from Canada. or call your closest border go to guy.

thank you, sir.

Have we seen your GTX?
no, be glad to show it, Gary has seen it. I bought it the way it is, pretty much an inferior restoration, so probably paid too much, but just had to have a red on white 4 speed convertible. real GTX but not matching numbers. ask any other questions. Also, got TONS of inspection photos in case anyone really wants a look, and would appreciate feedback if that's the case, far from perfect, I've been told a #3 car, but I did put the right pie pan plate on 1969 Plymouth GTX Convertible

Well I'd still love to have something as nice as that. What are the problems? Bodywork?

sure, understand. well, just some shoddy work pointed out by the inspector, spot welds, repair of some trunk rust not done well, some chrome pitted, etc. not trying to complain, it's just considering what I paid, i was hoping for better, but then again could have been worse. This would be the one here (all original metal, numbers matching, etc.) , but he says reserve is 60K, which (thankfully) is a fair amount less than what I paid for mine.

Plymouth: GTX

Fine looking GTX! How long have you had it?
