I feel like I am the only one. I have been watching for years but in the present turbo generation it has not been very competitive and this season has not been the best to watch.

Today, however, was a different sorry. If you missed the race and just a casual watcher, today is worth a viewing. Replays at 7:00 on ESPNews or 10:00 tonight on EPSN2

I love Formula 1, I've been a fan for years. I finally got to see it live in Montreal last month. Totally awesome! My wife bought us a package through Formula 1 Experiences for my 60th birthday. Took a tour of the track, got to see the team's practice their pit stops, pictures with the world championship trophies... great time in all.
Wish my favorite teams were still in, Lotus and Caterham, but time matches on.
I have it on dvr to watch later so thanks for not spilling the beans

That would be a cool experience to see it in person. It is on my bucket list to see a race at COTA, one of these days. The only F1 track I have been at is Nuremburg and they don't even racing there anymore

I didn't give away the results, but by saying it was a great race one can imply someone didn't win. :)

From what I've heard... from an SCCA Vintage driving instructor and tech inspector plus more than a few others at the Montreal race, you'd be better off going to Montreal. The track at COTA is Meh. So I'm glad we went to Montreal.

My wife originally wanted to get it for COTA, would've been close to my birthday but we decided to go to Montreal instead, and save some time and airfare, plus I was never that keen on that track anyway. Now my thoughts have been confirmed.

Not to mention you could probably drive there like we did.

It's funny you mentioned that because I was thinking why didn't I think of Montreal. Another bonus I can go there sooner. My wife is a school teacher so only bigger trips in the summer. The COTA race is in the fall. I can sell going to Montreal easier to her too. :)

By the way your wife's a keeper for setting this up for your 60th

Sounds like a plan:thumbsup:.

And she is! You may have met her at Carlisle over the past couple years she only missed last year.
