Oklahoma kicked CC to the curb this year. Now the Feds are trying to basically blackmail the state by telling them where they can spend over $50M in Federal money that the state originally had total discretion on how to spend those funds; orignally part of Ted Kennedy's "Every Kid Left Behind" crap. It's gonna take a LOT of pushback by the states to get rid of this travesty known as Common Core.
Indiana also told the Feds to stick it a while back. Five states never adopted the CC nonsense, so there are a total of seven that do NOT have CC. Louisiana is working to be the eighth.

I couldn't believe what I was reading when I first saw it. The woman/teacher providing information on how to use such items to the class like it Ho, Hum....what's the big deal.
