Sad I missed this but my car hasn't had steering in months and yesterday was the only opportunity I've had to work on her in a long time.

I hope everyone had a good time!

A lot of new Mopars, good turnout overall, my car won't be ready for at least two years.

Well. . . Didja finally fix it?
Almost. Everything is installed but nothing is torqued. I did that purposefully as I was concerned my pitman arm would be off a tooth or two. I was correct. So now I have to drop the center link off the pitman and Idler arms, correct the pitman arm's position and bolt it back up.

Even then, my alignment is going to be half a**ed at best... just good enough to get it to a shop which I probably wont be able to afford until the spring.

Great! I think there is something you can do on a budget workaround with string to align the front end, and you can get it pretty close. The FSM may spell out the procedure or it may be found somewhere else. I just don't remember where I saw it.

Oh yea, I've fudged it on a few vehicles .. I don't think it's too far out now, actually (once i fix the pitman's position) and I'll likely be able to limp it around for the fall. I just want to sock dough away this winter and get a lot of mechanicals done in the early spring.
