I would like to see the fender tag. I bet it had a vinyl top from the factory.

I looked for signs that holes for the vinyl top trim were filled in. I don't think it came with a vinyl top.
Also the fender tag wouldn't show if it had vinyl or not, would it?

It's probably a 400, no leather, need a rust inspection....if no rust $2750 - $3000 with A/C working.
 
Is Brougham a trim level to these cars, or part of the model name?

Up to 1974 it was a trim level (plain New Yorkers are rare- most went for the NYB). From 75-78 it was NYB or nothing.

Below are excerpts from the 74 & 75 Data selectors...the 74 data selector says a plain NY could be a 4 dr hardtop, but I personally have only ever seen sedans- very rare cars.
