so do i. hard to find a nice original mopar in that condition. unfortunately it will probably be street rodded with a ******* 350 chevy in it and a mustang 2 front end.

How can this possibly be a G-D "barn find" when the same family has owned the car since nearly NEW, and it's never been "lost" just to be "found" later on??? Barn find, my ***. I despise that term. Nice car, though! Were it mine, it would be made to run and stop, and that everything functions. From that point, I'd decide whether to restore it or leave it be.

I love it!

Wife, give me my wallet... What? What you mean there's no money in there? Okay, okay, so I haven't sold any of my toys lately... Okay, okay, got your point. :(

Sorry guys, this Walter stays in your neighborhood...

I think your taking the term "barn find" a little to literal Patrick. No matter what the circumstances I find the term an excellent way to describe anything that has been stored in a dry, safe environrment for a long period. It conjours up images of a car like this one.

Now...... You invented a name for what we call tribute, or clone cars a while back. It escapes me now, but that one bothers me. :poke:

That would be "phantom", and I cannot take credit for that. It's been around for quite a few years, actually, with that very meaning. It is a "one-of-none", something the factory NEVER built at all, but could have, if those options had been available in that combination; i.e., a Hemi B-body wagon of any kind. A GTX, RoadRunner or R/T wagon or four-door. A big block '70-newer A-body. A Charger convertible.

You can not build a "clone" or build a so-called "tribute" to something that never existed in the first place; hence the name "phantom".

" a copy of "
" just like a "
" looks like a "
" a fake "
Those are the correct terms to me.

It's a not ½ bad 76 NYB with a nice new paint job that runs pretty damn good.
Seriously, that's all it is.
It's For Sale for not a penny less than $20,000.00 and it's worth $2,000.00.
In other words, it's a keeper.

But thank you for the extremely kind words cuz it means a lot to me.
