BARN FIND! 1970 Chrysler 300 2dr - $3500 (Montague, MI)

One owner, 1970 Chrysler 300 2dr. Burgundy in color. White leather bench seats, black carpeting. Critter damage in headliner but seats and rest of interior look good. Engine is a 440. Hideaway headlights, all kinds of upgrades, shifting on column. A barn find. Had it appraised last fall. Selling a $5500 car for $3500/somewhat negotiable as we need the barn for something else. Clean title and both keys included. Will be a sweet ride.

what about that rust around the pentastar? isn't that a bad sign? maybe rusted from inside, and coming out?

hard to tell what´s dirt and what´s rust.. no pics of fenders / wheelhousing or underneath, so it´s impossible to tell.
I was judging from the dirt in and outside the car.. that looks very dry to me. but also seeing that, nobody knows how big
the rat colony is that lives inside and how much of rubber and vinyl has been chewed up..

I think these pics keep many people away, but those who a really interested and have the car inspected can make a great deal

I do see some "dew" rust along the bottom edges, but i also see the blackened seam along the bottom too which is rust free. This car needs a personal inspection to establish just what rust it really has. My GT came from Massachusetts and apart from rusty rear rails from mice, wasn't bad at all.
