January 12, 1966 marked the debut of the "Batman!" TV series on ABC. I remember being a little kid then and anxious as hell for the TV show to come on!

If I recall correctly, it was on Wednesday nights opposite of Lost in Space. Yep...it was a real dilemma for an 8 year old deciding what to watch.

Yes, indeed that! Dad despised sci-fi of any kind, but he did like Superman and Batman. So, the Bat won in my house!
