So I'm about to get the Eddy carb off my 383 so I can put the original 2bbl carb and manifold back on. Carb LOOKS like it was rebuilt not long ago although I didn't do it. Anyway, my buddy was checking it out and decided to flip it upside down. <EEK> Since it's been upside down, does that mean that I HAVE TO open it up to make sure the check balls are in place and whatnot? I've always heard one should NEVER turn a carb upside down unless you were planning on opening it up. Is this true or will this carb most likely be okay? 50/50 chance maybe?
TIA
