Most of the posts are asking if these buckets will fit in this bench car and so on. I'm after a cleaner, better bench seat for my 68 Fury 3 and wanted to know if things were pretty much wide open as far as C Body's within 4-5 years of 1968? I have found a few seats from 1970-72 and only see that the vehicle width changed by a little over an inch from 68 (77.7" to 79"). Does anyone know if the bench holes are a standard fit for most Slab and Fuselage models? Thanks for helping me out with this.

I would just be guessing when I say that all slabbie benches should interchange.

Well, I certainly thought so too but thought I'd ask b/c taking a 14 hr roundtrip to get one only to find it was wrong would ruin my weekend. I was hoping someone may have done this swap, from like a 72-73 Dodge into a 67-68 Plymouth or something like this.

I know that the formal benches will fit in the fuselages but not sure that a fuselage will fit a slab. Probably, but? I Have a fuselage bench sitting in the garage, I'll take some measurements and let you know, if that helps.

This was taken with the seat out, on the floor. Originally from a 72 Newport coupe. Center to center, 47 and a 1/2 inches by 11 inches. Should match!

You're welcome and good luck with the new seat. While it's out you may want to consider adding cross bracing, four or so, long straight wires tied to the springs. This makes the seat much firmer and comfortable, particularly on the long hauls.
