Blacked out grill 66 fury

Bought a parts car came with 2 grills
This blacked out grill.
And a sport grill.
I have never seen a blacked out grill .
This is from the fury 3 .
Anybody have a blacked out grill on there

The sections of the grill which are now black probably started as a darker shade of silver than the surrounding items, most probably. Probably some sales brochure pictures you can find online to verify this. "Black out" treatments didn't become somewhat popular until the later '70s or so, as I recall.
