Well, I must admit it's the most snow I have ever experienced and I can say I don't like it. I'm sure others see much more each year but for an Aussie from a sunburnt country where this week Sydney saw 117F, this amount of cold is nuts to me. Brrrrrr.

I keep forgetting you're a transplant. Cold and snowy? We just started it, and those crazy guys even further north seem to have it all year! You'll be fine, this just let's you know, it could be a lot worse, like having to store a car 10 miles away, and not be able to work on it for at least five months.

We got less than an inch in Aberdeen, Maryland but they put enough salt on the roads to last the rest of the winter. LOL!

Snow is actually a whole lot of fun if you're a kid and I always feel bad for those that grew up without experiencing at least a little of it. Hot chocolate never tastes better than it did after a day of sledding and throwing snowballs.

As much as it's a PITA to me to deal with now, I still enjoy the pure white cover of fresh snow over everything and the stillness of a cold night.
