Wanted something different to drive this winter that was better on gas than my NY'er so I found this 71 Demon. Slant 6 with 3 on the tree. No options, manual steering & brakes. It has it's issues but runs and drives good. Here's some pictures.

Great car, congrats Chris!

Cool! I'd like to find a clean A-body somewhere. Used to trip over these, then one day, they all vanished! I do miss my factory '69 Dart GTS 440 car!

Schaweeeet!!! I love it!!

I had a 72 Demon...Slanty, auto, dark brown with a light brown interior. I loved that car, and is one of the few cars I truly regret scrapping. I would own another in a heart beat!!

Yah this car or a 1971 Plymouth Duster i was thinking would be cheap and economical for the missus to drive around in and enjoy it too, i do like these cars, nice score.

What issues does the car have? Looks like it might have A/C?

More pictures please.

It's got a lot of little issues. I just got back from taking my Grandson to school in it and it runs well, shifts well, stops well and seems like a reliable driver. Albeit kind of a crude driver. Makes a lot of creaks and rattles, it pulls to the right and the A/C, temp gauge and Radio don't work. It's hang on air. It had a real silly looking aftermarket scoop on it that luckily was just glued on but some nimrod but hood pins toward the middle of the hood so it has two holes in it. I'll drive it until I get bored and then find another one.

All easy things to fix.....it's a cool car!

I tested the waterz in SE Michigan 30 yearz ago thinking there might be a market for cheap transportation for some learned factory ratz 'round here. Hell no, they'd rather drive ah new pickup and let the salt eat the bottom out and acid rain do a number on the top and make $400 or $500 paymentz for life.
