Gents & Ladies,

Need some input on rear brake parts for a 74 Plymouth fury, gran coupe...

Looking for hard to find parts for this car...

Need rear drums and brake shoes.

Details:

1974 Plymouth Fury, Gran Coupe
Motor - 400, 2bbl
2 door hard top
Rear drums and shoes are 11" x 2" brakes friction surface is 2".

Really having a hard time sourcing these parts, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

All the brake parts are available from all the auto chains.
Have the meathead punch in 1974 Chrysler Newport instead.
Their tiny pea brains can't handle the B-body/C-body differences of Fury, Gran Fury, etc. Especially the 74's. That goes for Monacos also.
I just went to the Advance Auto site and they had everything.

Also, there was no Fury Grand or Gran Coupe.
In 74 there was the Fury I, II, III, and the Gran Fury.
The Fury Grand Coupe is also screwing the kid up.

Yup, its a Fury Gran Coupe '74. seeing a lot of 2.50" width on the rear break shoes but no 2".

Son of a *****!!!!!!!!!

I retreat to my doghouse with my tail between my legs.
But I learned something new today...
I best stick to NYB's.

The drums off a 73 monaco will work if the rear bolt pattern is the same a an 8 3/4 or you have an 8 3/4. I had to use these drums on my 68 d100 w a 11x2 dum w 2" shoes!

Bear in mind that Formals used the same brakes as Dodge trucks. I don't think we'll be running out any time soon.

Well, I'm happy that Nick came here and we were able to help him out but I can't help wonder if he could have simply installed the 2-1/2" brakes and drums.
