Upgraded brake booster and master cylinder over the weekend.
I bought 8" dual diaphragm booster off Ebay and later style aluminum master cylinder at local auto parts store. Now the car stops very nice and the brake pedal does not travel as much as before.

I have disc brakes on the front and drums on the back. Front calipers have 2 3/4" pistons. With my regular disc brakes master (1" bore) my brake pedal would go all the way to the floor. I wanted to fix this issue by installing 1 1/8" bore master, but it would require more power assist plus I always thought that dual diaphragm booster would work better than singe diaphragm unit.
I have ordered this setup

and it fits my firewall perfectly. I had to shorten the pedal pushrod by 1/2" though.
The master cylinder in this kit has 1 1/8" bore, but it has different size fittings - an adapter can be used here. I decided to check what else is available and found that aluminum master cylinder for 1979 Dodge B100 has same bore size and fittings are correct so I did not have to redo my brake lines or use any adapters. With coupons it costed my something like $18 at AAP.

I had to drill the holes a bit larger to fit over the booster studs and extend the booster pushrod.
Now the pedal sits higher and travels only a half way to the floor. Braking power improved quite a bit - the wheels would lock easily.

That master cylinder can also be installed over regular Mopar booster using an adapter.
