Alright guys, the time has come for me to replace all the suspension parts and upgrade to four wheel disc brakes. I already have all the brakes and suspension pieces. Got the firmfeel stage 3 steering box and tubular upper control arms and reinforcing plates. Now I just need to get the brake booster, master cylinder, and proportioning valve? Can anyone tell me the parts that would work?

I started out with the factory drum brakes. All around and I can get replacement brake booster and master cylinder for disc brakes but the option only says for front disc brakes and rear drums. I was wondering if it would be alright if I got this???

well I cant say for sure b/c I don't know about changing to rear discs, but on my '68 fury that had all wheel power drum brakes, I went with a disc/drum MC that had a 1 1/32 bore for my conversion. it was like $15 from napa or wherever.

I used the stock drum single diaphragm power booster already in the car. I only changed the fronts to disc, not the rears too. but the booster is just for pedal assist a single booster works just fine.

on your factory drum setup, is should be a dual reservoir MC yes? if yes then you can just bolt on the other MC.

I did not add any proportion valves or hold off valves anywhere - just rocking what was in there stock.

again - if you are going to 4-wheel disc all this info may be out the window...
