AMK makes up chassis (or engine) kits for A/B/E bodies, but we are orphans. Practically begged the guy to see if he was interested in pulling one together for C bodies - worse yet, Imperials. Practially passed out from laughing.

Google search a rabbit hole of guys reselling AMK or partial kits for this/that.

Any chance there is another source that you gents are aware of?

FSM and Parts Book absolutely ZERO help here.

An engine kit won't know if it's in a Roadrunner or an Imperial, so there's no real difference.

I used an interior kit from them for my '65 Barracuda and about 1/4 of the screws weren't quite the same but would work and another 1/4 of them weren't even close. In the end, I just used the chrome sheet metal screws out of the kit.

IMHO, you are better off reusing most of the original stuff. From what I've seen, there's a lot of stuff for the A/B/E bodies in those kits that aren't the same quality or are different in appearance. There are some things that are fairly generic, like fender bolts and you can buy those anywhere.

Thanks Big John. That sound like solid advice from a seasoned veteran. I think I'll take it and not make this too complicated.

There IS a section in the Chrysler Parts Manual entitled "Standard Parts". THAT is the bolt/nut/screw listings. Very graphic and detailed illustrations for EACH bolt/nut/screw type, with multiple lengths and such for each one. Even some Grade 8 bolts, too. Quite interesting reading!! Only problem was that there were "unit pack quantities" for some items, meaning to get 2, you had to buy 10, for example.

In so many cases, you are better to clean and re-use the OEM production bolts than to seek to purchase new ones in "a kit". Many times, what is in the kit is not completely correct for what was originally in the car, by observation.

Enjoy!
