c body lost to the California fires

I saw that on the day. I held off on the mention as it was a small thing in all the loss.
Looks like a 300 coupe. I was looking at he property on street view, quite the loss of classics.

There's almost nothing left of the Lincoln in the back.

Those huge junipers that were in front above the fuselage C-body, those all probably went up in flames at once.

Our state's previous fire storms have been very bad, but the Newsom-Bass fires in LA are on another level.

This will make you wonder.

I couldn't imagine accepting a loss like that because of governmental mismanagement and budget cuts.
That looked like a well-established, nice older neighborhood, and most likely every home was over $1 million dollars.
I heard on the MSM news last night insurance companies were only paying the homeowners up to a maximum of $3 million for a total loss. The cap that was put in place was because of governmental changes through reductions in funding made to the forestry fire prevention measures over the past several years by the state/local governments. Is this true?
Surely there are many homes that were destroyed that were valued at a lot more than $3 million knowing what the housing market is in CA.
If it's not bad enough these people lost everything, they are going to suffer for a long time while trying to get their lives back in order because of the decisions that were made by their leaders.
