I purchased rear drums and shoes for my 1967 Plymouth Fury from Craig @mobileparts at Carlisle. Apparently the correct NOS 11" x 2" drums are hard to find. Craig only has 1 left. We decided to experiment with the fitment of C2955 for a 1969-1972 on my 1967 with 14" wheels. C2955 has fins on the drum, thus creating a wider/thicker outside diameter.

I was able to test the fitment last night and it looks like it's going to work. There isn't much room to spare, but there is a slight gap all the way around the drum, between the drum and wheel. I tried getting pictures but it was difficult to hold the flashlight and the camera and capture the gap/fitment without creating shadows.

Hey Josh / Furyus67 ,
Looks Good !!!
See also your P.M.
Yours, Craig….

I had my 2" rear drums turned earlier this year. They look the same as your NOS ones - with fins. I've also put in new cylinders and shoes. I note that I hear a squeal coming from one of them when braking to a stop, the squeal happening just before the stop. Maybe that was what the springs wrapped around the drums were for? These finned drums don't look like they take a spring.

You might want to take your NOS drums to a shop and have them checked for roundness. I bought new front drums (ok yes they were from china) and they needed to be turned.

Josh / Furyous will N O T have any squealing from Chineseum Brake Shoes —- He has *** N.O.S. *** Asbestos *** Very
