Cali to Texas road trip

Bought some cars from Texas hoard with some friends made a road trip to go pick them up.

2.5 days travel time from Cali to Big Springs Tx.

A 71 mustang funny car made into sign near inn that we were staying at

Weather was perfect all the way there and back except for a mad max dust storm that blew in at auction site. To many pics to post.
What an amazing collection he had.
3 car haulers were lined up to pick up imperials for for demo derby.

I tried talking them into coming here to sell parts but they weren’t to interested?

The 61 I got was said/shown on video to have all kinds extra parts in trunk.
A/C,engine parts,headlight rings etc.
When I got there trunk was cleaned out and when I asked about it the auction company said that they went through cars removing loose parts that they determined were not included in auction with with car?$&@$&@
I know of at least 2 other buyers that this happened to. VERY shady business practices of auction company. Second pic shows parts trunk lid was lying ground with cleaned out trunk

One the guys that went with us bought this dodge diesel from the auction,and then bought a trailer from CL in Texas and then towed this 59 Plymouth coupe
home.
