I thought it was really neat. No word if the builder has a Captain Kaos or a proctologist riding along.

Heard on radio news the other day someone made the run because of the quarantine keeping roads clear. They won’t reveal who they are for fear of arrest.

There was one featured in Mopar Collectors Guide some years back. Accurate as they could make it. I want to say they had another replica of a different movie car, but can't be sure. The van in MCG had a built engine ad all kinds of mods to make it go fast.

This guy says the secret is to keep the small block. Idk.

I think it’s pretty neat people make these things. I will look up the Mopar Collector’s Guide. Thanks.

That was a great movie with a great cast and that caliber of actors no longer exists.

I want to say the one in the magazine had a stout big block in it. I looked it up, it's in the July 2018 issue.

The current record holders have chosen to remain anonymous, travelling from the Red Ball Garage on the east side of Manhattan to the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach, a total of 2,825.3 miles (4,546.9 km) in 26 hours 38 minutes in April 2020. The team averaged 106 miles per hour

I used to devour the Brock Yates reports from Car and Driver magazine, which I used to subscribe to, back in the day.
The Wikipedia states that the current record holders used a 2019 Audi A8L which had additional fuel tanks installed. An apt ride for such a blast, no doubt.
